Stand Up Forklift Attachments - The internal combustion engine powered lift trucks are fittingly labeled to the fuel type utilized. Type "G" lift trucks are fueled by gasoline. These meet fires hazard minimum standards and is the most common designation for lift trucks powered by gas. Lift trucks labeled "G" are not used in dangerous places for apparent reasons. Type "GS" trucks are gasoline fueled and satisfy all the requirements of a Type "G" forklift and comprise different equipment installed to the exhaust and electrical and fuel system to allow them to be utilized in certain dangerous locations. Type "GS" lift trucks are utilized in similar applications to Type "EE" electric lift trucks.
The "LP" class of lift trucks are powered by LPG and do not meet minimum standards for fire hazards and should not be used in dangerous places. This is however the most frequent designation for lift trucks fueled by LPG. Type "LPS" lift trucks are fueled by LPG and meet all the requirements of a Type "G" truck. They have different pieces of equipment installed to the fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system to allow them to be used in certain hazardous applications. Type "LPS" forklifts are utilized in similar applications to Type "GS" and Type "EE" electric lift trucks.
Type "G/LP" lift trucks are duel fuel models for the reason that they can be operated on either gasoline or LPG with no adjustment to the fuel system. Forklifts labeled "G/LP" satisfy the minimum requirements for fire hazards. trucks labeled "G/LP" are not utilized in dangerous places. Type "GS/LPS" trucks are duel fuel units because they could be operated on gasoline or LPG without any alteration to the fuel system. These trucks meet all requirements of a Type "GS" or Type "LPS" truck and consist of different machinery installed to their exhaust system, electrical system and fuel system, so as to allow them to be utilized in certain unsafe applications. Type "GS/LPS" lift trucks are used in similar applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric trucks.
Lift trucks fueled by diesel which meet minimum requirements for fire hazards are labeled type "D". These forklifts must not be used in hazardous locations. Type "DS" forklifts are diesel fueled and meet all the requirements of a Type "D" truck and have other machine installed to the fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system so as to allow them to be utilized in some hazardous places. Type "DS" lift trucks are utilized in similar applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric forklifts. Type "DY" trucks are fueled by diesel and meet all the requirements of Type "DS" forklifts and also do not include whatever electrical equipment installed. These lift trucks use air starters and come with some provisions in order to control the temperature of the lift truck components. These lift trucks could be utilized in similar situations and conditions as the type "EE" electric lift truck.
